Diligent believes in working towards digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience of our products and applying accessibility standards as part of our business mission.
Our goal is to make accessibility one of the core pillars of our software development process.
As we continue towards this goal, Diligent will:
- Make progress towards aligning with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, with the goal being to exceed minimum requirements where possible.
- Incorporate these standards into our regular product upgrade work and into all newly developed products.
- Follow a regular process of identifying accessibility gaps in our existing products and prioritizing known issues based on criticality.
- Commit to incorporating accessibility remediations as a regular portion of our product roadmaps.
- Provide transparency into our progress toward developing accessible products.
- Provide training and informational resources to our employees to help meet our accessibility goals.

Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts working towards the accessibility of Diligent products, there may be some limitations. Our disability inclusion progress is ongoing, and we are committed to building accessible environments on the Diligent platform.
100% accessibility compliance is always our goal, but, in a complex technological world with multiple product lines, technology stacks, and disparate teams, instances of accessibility gaps are inevitable. Capacity limitations, honest mistakes, typos, and legacy applications can all contribute to compliance gaps. Additionally, where we integrate with third parties, we cannot always be accountable for the compliance levels of our partners. Our audits are designed to ensure compliance errors introduced through the normal course of business are caught and prioritized.
